Project (1): School of Health and Nursing, Teesside University, UK

The purpose of this 4D visualization was to study the effect of different execution scenario per the specific construction schedule. The visualization was developed during my PhD research back at the University of Teesside and has been enhanced recently in iConViz using VRML interface. The project is the School of Health building. The AutoCAD model was exported to MS Access database and converted to VRML to run the visualization.

Project (2): London Underground Railway Expansion and Viaduct, UK

The purpose of this 4D visualization was to simulate the execution strategy for a major via duct construction as part of the London Underground authorities. The contractor wanted to visualize the detail sequence in detail the bridge construction, support scaffold, and operation for sliding the new via duct in place. The AutoCAD model was exported to MS Access database and converted to VRML to run the visualization.

Project (3): Clayton County K12 School, Atlanta, USA

The purpose of this 4D visualization was to facilitate communication between the contractor, the architect and the client during the Construction Administration phase so that to learn more visually about the finished/progressing/remaining percentages of work. The Revit model was exported to MS Access database using iConViz exporter and converted to VRML to run the visualization.

Project (4): Dam Construction, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia

This project required production of a detail 4D simulation movies for a proposed Dam Construction located on the Eastern region of Jeddah. The movies show the processes of constructing the different layers of the Dam along both directions (Downstream and Upstream), excavation stages, and Spillway construction. They also show a 4D-CutSection animation for micro-project planning. The entire full-height structure (approx. 17meters) is built. The 3D model was constructed in Revit, and the entire 4D animation was created using Navisworks.
